Driving a go-kart through the heart of Shibuya in the crisp autumn morning air? Absolutely unreal. I mean, how often do you get to roll past the famous crossing while locals snap pictures of you like you’re some sort of celebrity? The tour guide was fantastic, giving us the confidence to navigate the busy roads. And cruising down Omotesando? Felt like I was in a movie. Definitely something I’ll be bragging about back home. 🍂🏎️

It started drizzling just before our tour, and I thought the experience might be ruined – but no way! They provided rain gear, and honestly, driving through the glowing wet streets of Shibuya felt straight out of a cyberpunk movie. The reflections on the road, the neon lights, and the cool night air made it even more surreal. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
As a massive fashion lover, driving past the boutiques of Omotesando and the quirky streets of Harajuku was like stepping into a dream. The experience was smooth, and the guide made sure we stayed together, even as we navigated some of the busier crossings. Seeing the blend of high-end stores and street culture from a go-kart was something I never expected to love so much!
I’ve been living in Tokyo for a while, but this was one of the coolest things I’ve done here. The route was well thought out, hitting all the most vibrant spots in Shibuya and Harajuku. Even though I know these areas well, seeing them from a go-kart added a whole new level of excitement. Whether you’re a tourist or a Tokyo local, this is 100% worth doing at least once.
